All applications will be reviewed and interview will be organized to give all applicants the opportunity to defend themselves professionally, their interest, show their commitment and ability to follow all laid down regulatory procedures and steps required to ensure success in work visa application.
Step 4
To enable candidates proceed with the application for license by Michigan State Board of Nursing, all candidates are required to apply to CGFNS for Certification Program.
The Certification Program CP includes:
The CGFNS Qualifying Exam® for first-level, general nurses
A credentials evaluation of secondary and nursing education and registration.
Demonstration of passing one of the accepted English language proficiency exams (TOEFL)
The fees for the above is about $500 payable directly to CGFNS.
Step 5
Candidates proceed with the application for license by Michigan State Board of Nursing pay fees of $208 for the license (payable directly to the board).
Step 6
After candidates application to Michigan State Board of Nursing for license has been approved and credentials verified by CGFNS, they are required to apply for NCLEX examination. The fee for NCLEX examination is $200(payable directly to the agency).
Step 7
The next step is Visa Credentials Assessment which is conducted by CGFNS. Applicants who successfully complete VisaScreen receive an official ICHP Certificate for the VisaScreen: Visa Credentials Assessment Service, which satisfies the United States Federal screening requirements. ICHP (International Commission on Healthcare Professions) is a division of CGFNS International.
Step 8
If the VisaScreen is successful, candidates can proceed with officially applying for Visa at the US Embassy.With the ICHP Certificate issued after the Visa Assessment Assessment (VisaScreen),candidates have some form of comfort that there application for Work visa will be successful.
Step 9
Planning and arrangement of logistics for successful candidates in Nigeria, to ensure their successful trip to the US(booking of flight tickets within Nigeria, hotel accommodation, transport to the airport, dealing with immigration issues etc).This expense will be borne by candidates.
Step 10
Planning and arrangement of logistics for successful candidates as they arrive the US. This includes flight ticket to the US, accommodation, transport, and refresher training to enable candidates fit into US Healthcare system based on US standards, and job placements with partner Healthcare providers (already secured job offers). Kindly note that Serenity Global Staffing will fully bear the above expenses stated on item 10.

For nurses educated outside of the United States, the first step to practicing as a nurse in the United States is to apply for a license with a state board of nursing (Michigan State Board of Nursing). Each state board may require certain services to determine if Candidate will be able to practice in the United States.
